Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90974_20220922_125039.jpg Notes: אברהם פאסט היה נגר אומן שהגיע לירושלים בשנת 1869 והתגורר ב"משכנות שאננים". בית זה נבנה בשנת 1891 אז אליו עבר פאסט. כן היו בו כמה חדרים להשכרה. בין השאר גרו בחדרים אלה: תלמידים מהלוצאום, מהנדסי הרכבת שהוקמה בסמוך ופקידים אנגלים. פאסט נכנס אם כן לעסקי מלונאות והמלון המפורסם שהחזיק היה מלון פאסט בבנין גדול שעמד בכיכר צה"ל של היום, מול הפינה הצפון מערבית של החומה.(רפי כפיר)
