Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_92687_DSC02038.JPG Notes: כנסיית ההִשְׁתַּנוּת (באיטלקית: Basilica della Trasfigurazione) היא כנסייה פרנציסקנית קתולית הניצבת על פסגת הר תבור. על פי מסורת שהחלה במאה ה-4, חלה ההשתנות של ישו במקום זה, אירוע שבמהלכו הוא דיבר עם משה ואליהו, ואושר מעמדו כבן האלוהים. הכנסייה הנוכחית נבנתה על ידי האדריכל אנטוניו ברלוצי בשנים 1919–1924. ההשתנות הייתה אירוע בחייו של ישו המדווח בשלוש הבשורות הסינופטיות (הבשורה על-פי מתי, הבשורה על-פי מרקוס והבשורה על-פי לוקס), ואשר במהלכו השתנה על פסגת הר:(ויקיפדיה)
