Name: The historic Rosh Haain train station
Description: The railway station was established in 1915 under the name Ras al-Ain at the end of the Turkish rule in the Land of Israel, the track continued to be used even during the British Mandate.

שם: תחנת הרכבת ההיסטורית ראש העין
תיאור: תחנת הרכבת הוקמה בשנת 1915 בשם "ראס אל-עין" בשלהי השלטון הטורקי בארץ ישראל, המסילה המשיכה לשמש גם בתקופת המנדט הבריטי. בשנת 1920 החלה הקמתה של שלוחה מתחנת ראש העין לכיוון פתח תקווה לצורך יצוא פרי הדר. (ויקיפדיה)
הערות: במהלך מלחמת העולם השנייה ולאחריה שימשה התחנה את המחנות הבריטים שנבנו באזור. במלחמת העצמאות התחנה נכבשה על ידי צה"ל ביולי 1948. לאחר קום המדינה התחנה המשיכה לפעול עד סגירת קווי הנוסעים במסילה המזרחית, עם פתיחת המסילה באיילון ב-1993. ביוני 2000 תחנת הרכבת נפתחה מחדש ונסגרה שוב לאחר פתיחת הקו בין תל אביב לכפר סבא, והקמת התחנה החדשה ראש העין צפון בשנת 2003,
