תיאור: בית המכס הוא מבנה מנדטורי, השוכן בין שני מסלוליו של רחוב הרכבת בתל אביב, בין רחוב החשמל ממזרח ורחוב לבונטין ממערב. המבנה שימש כבית המכס של תחנת הרכבת "תל אביב", שפעלה לצד מסילת הרכבת יפו–ירושלים בין השנים 1920–1970. המבנה מוכרז כמבנה לשימור.
הערות: בית המכס נבנה על הרציף לצד מסילת הרכבת שחלפה מצפון לו. המבנה באורך של כ-50 מטרים נבנה לצד עיקול מתון במסילה, והוא הותאם לו. הבניין בן הקומה הבודדת נושא גג רעפים המסתיים בקרניז, ובצידו הצפוני צמוד לו סוכך הנשען על מוטות ברזל מקומרים. חלונות ודלתות המבנה רבועים, ובחזיתו הדרומית מתנוסס הכיתוב "בית המכס" בעברית, אנגלית ובערבית. נכון לתחילת המאה ה-21, המבנה נטוש, נעול ומוזנח, ועל קירותיו מתנוססות כתובות גרפיטי.
