Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4B Skyhawk from Attack Squadron 95 (VA-95) "Green Lizards" coming a off target over North Vietnam in 1966. VA-95 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 10 (CVW-10) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) for a deployment to Vietnam from 4 April to 21 November 1966. The antisubmarine warfare carrier Intrepid made a unique deployment to Vietnam with CVW-10, consisting entirely of attack squadrons (except for a small number of rescue helicopters). During two further deployments, also fighter squadrons were assigned to CVW-10.
