Summary[edit]

Description Two U.S. Navy A-4C Skyhawk (BuNo 147804, 149520) of Attack Squadron VA-192 "Golden Dragons" in flight over Vietnam. VA-192 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 19 (CVW-19) aboard the aircart carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) flying the A-4C for two deployments to Vietnam from 28 January to 21 November 1964 and from 21 April 1965 to 13 January 1966.
The A-4C 147804 was later shot down by ground fire over South Vietnam on 25 June 1968 while in service with Marine Attack Squadron VMA-223. The pilot ejected and was rescued.
