Studio of W. Zirkler, Modern Photography Studio, Clausthal, Harz mountains, Germany.

Bought from an eBay seller in Hamburg, Germany.

William Zirkler (1869-1928) was a German studio photographer, who specialised in mining and industrial photography. In 1901, William Zirkler took over the Clausthal studio founded by his father Friedrich Zirkler (1827-1909), working in parallel in mining and industrial photography, especially in the local Harz mining industry.
