Description The mockup of a Advanced Common Intercept Missile Demonstration (ACIMD) on a U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat fighter at the China Lake Naval Weapons Center in the early 1980s. No missile had been tested when the program was cancelled in 1987. Originally named AIM-152, the development led to the AIM-120 AMRAAM.
