Nederlands: We zien de Vijfde Batterij onder het bevel van Kapitein Mechels en Luitenant Zwaenepoel in de Gulden Vlieslaan nabij de Ezelpoort. We zien beide bevelhebbers links. Bemerk de kleding van de omstaanders, al of niet te fiets. Let ook even op het tramspoor. Deze foto werd gepubliceerd in een gedenkalbum dat in 1930 werd uitgegeven ter gelegenheid van de honderdjarige onafhankelijkheid van België.
