English: The facade of Arkivet ("The Archives"), a yellow brick building dating back to 1935 in Kristiansand, Norway, with the entrance facing the city center, featuring flagpoles, a paved square, stairs, and a bust of Major Arne Laudal (1892–1944) created by Ingemund Berulvson (1900–1976) and erected in 1946.

Statsarkivet i Kristiansand var Gestapos hovedkvarter på Sørlandet under den tyske okkupasjonen av Norge under andre verdenskrig. I 2001 åpnet Arkivet som museum, og et utvidet anlegg er i dag freds- og menneskerettighetssenter.
