Description
Français : Façade nord et installations de la gare de Dole, Jura.

A quai, une Z 27500 assurant une mission TER Dijon-Besançon s'apprête à repartir.

Les lieux sont connus des « ferrovipathes » pour une particularité technique passée: la gare de Dole fût en effet, jusqu'au début des années 1990, commutable, c'est-à-dire que les voies pouvaient être alimentées sous 2 tensions.

Cette configuration, peu courante en France y compris en zones frontalières, prend fin en 1991 avec l'électrification de l'ITE Solvay-Tavaux. L'ensemble de l'équipement est alors repris, la gare dorénavant alimentée sous une tension unique, 25 kV alternatif.
