Description

From what I have found, 322 of these Pontiac Firebird based Avantis were built from 1996 to 2005. They ran out of Firebirds and then made some Mustang based ones.

The design was by Tom Kellogg and three cars were built for Jim Bunting in Harrisburg, PA by Bill Lang. Then the whole idea was sold to John Seaton, who teamed with Michael Kelly to make more of the cars.

This red car could be one of the three original cars or one of the Kelly built ones. Bunting had previously displayed his first ones at Studebaker meets, so maybe it is his.
