English: Oak Creek in en:Oak Creek Canyon, in the en:Sedona, Arizona region. The view is upstream (north) with the Oak Creek Fault producing differing rock sequences west, and east. The red en:Coconino Sandstone is on the right, and Kaibab Formation at higher elevations above it. (The en:Mogollon Rim and Plateau is also to the right.) |
