Summary[edit]

Description

The male in this picture was the winner of the competition. The female liked the nest and expressed its joy by flapping its wings due to which the male come close. We are not sure if what we saw was the mating scene which happened in seconds (I suspect it is not), but both the male and female are polygamous in this species. And for the next partner, the male starts all over again and builds a new nest. The old nests are often used by other birds like Finches to lay their eggs.
