Summary[edit]

Description

I had not seen so many Black Headed Finches in one day before as of this day. Maybe 100+ of them dotted the bund road. Very shy and disappearing as my vehicle approached closer. They are a beautiful sight to watch and incredibly tough to shoot in groups. Again active just before the sunset, feeding themselves with the Baya Weavers before the darkness sets. There were close to 50+ weavers, equal number of Silverbill finches, Strawberry finches and Scaly Breasted Finches. Much of the action was against the light, so put away my heavy camera aside and just enjoyed the view.
