Summary[edit]

Description

A lucky day for us - we spotted a pair of Bonelli's Eagles in the wild at the edge of a valley / reservoir. The birds were carrying twigs, small and very large to their nest that they are building for a few weeks now.

I suspect this one was a male (could be totally wrong) since it was seen few times carrying smaller branches. And because of the lesser weight it was in a fast dive as can be noted from the folded wing pattern.

The background is a muddy lake where there were fresh inflows and hence disturbed the soil.

Many thanks for your views / feedback. Much appreciated.
