| Description |
A favorite bird of mine for its colors and for the distinct feather contours on the body. Y'day sighted a good number of them on trees. And as we went closer they flew away everytime. I had to position myself strategically for this shot, while my friend who was exploring some butterflies nearby walked towards these birds unaware of their presence. And I got a delightful shot - 3/4 shots actually before it disappeared behind some bushes. Next time should get even closer :) The day was raining with brief interruptions in between, so the greens were quite saturated and made for excellent backdrop. Am off tomorrow morning for a 4-day Rainy season birding trip in the jungles - Hope I get some luck! Thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Much appreciated. |
