Summary[edit]

Description
English: On Saturday 2 September, Assange solidarity activists worldwide held an Australian Embassy Day appealing to the Australian government to intervene in the U.S. extradition case against Julian Assange. In London they gathered initially outside Australia House on the Strand and later at Piccadilly Circus (where this photo was taken). The activists were also protesting against the continued imprisonment of Julian Assange at Britain's high security Belmarsh Prison.
