| Description | I have nothing against shopping malls, but hardly ever feel the need to visit one. On this occasion, I was just cutting through the building. This mall, located in downtown Norfolk, actually makes some sense: it is smack in the city center and brings people INTO the city to shop. It has good parking, is right on a light rail line, and served by other public transportation. On this day it looked prosperous. But I decided to snap a pic anyway given what I hear about malls in general, which reportedly are on the decline. I get stuff online if I need it and so I'm part of the problem for the future of malls. Will malls go the way of the steam engine? |
