Description
English: The image shown at the left top corner is a Masquerade, this masquerade only appears when my community is celebrating any traditional or local festival, the name of this masquerade is called in my Idoma language as IBO. For instance, every 3rd of September in my community a Rural Village called Ekeh, in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State Nigeria. We celebrate our New yam festival and that day in my place is called EKEH-DAY. This day different kinds of Masquerade are prepared for the celebration and this masquerade (IBO) must be among those masquerade.
