| Description |
An uncommon Parakeet sighted often in thick canopy and easily confused for its more common cousin, The Parrot is a delight to watch. In addition to its colorful head, it has a bright red spot on the wing which I mistook for blood and thought it was injured. But it is a feature of the bird. And in the forest, it wasn't easy to get any close to the bird and had to do with the view we got. Many thanks for your view / feedback / comments. Much appreciated. |
