| Description | A closer look at the mouth of the cave on the mountain face on the karsts of China's Li River. The imagination then begins to run wild as to what kind of creature would live inside there. Well, bats maybe, or pythons or other bat eating creatures! But then again, it could also be the start of a vast subterranean river system like what I had seen in Puerto Princesa in the Philippines in 2013. Well, all thoughts in the fantasy direction were soon bypassed as the boat moved past the cave rather quickly. (Li River Cruise, Guilin- Yangshuo, China, May 2017) |
