Description

A CLRV is about to tow this disabled ALRV to the garage for service. Note the 1 metre towing bar. The first CLRV were equipped with standard railway coupling, so they could be run as multiple vehicle units, just as the earlier President's Conference Cars had been. Those standard railway couplings were removed and the vehicles were never run as multiple units. But an alternate method for one vehicle to tow another was provided.
