Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a picture of a power car of the Indian Railways. Two of such power cars are used to provide End-On-Generation (EOG) to AC trains. where the electrical load (i.e. load of lights, fans and air conditioning, pantry etc. referred to as “Hotel Load”) of all the coaches is fed from the power cars placed at either ends of the rake.
