Description
English: A ship with three rudders in Indian ocean with a canted rectangular sail. from an anonymous planisphere of Munich representing the Moluccas Islands (Kunstmann IV) [Jorge Reinel and Pedro Reinel], ca. 1519. Facsimile of 1843, Bibliothèque nationale de France, GEAA564 (RES). The artist probably tried to depict a Nusantaran vessel, maybe a ghurab, with tanja sail.
