English: Edge of the Aa River , in the Wood of the former "Poudrerie nationale d'Esquerdes" ; at Esquerdes, in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region (North of France),
Français : Berge de galets de l'Aa, dans le Bois de l'ancienne Poudrerie nationale d'Esquerdes (inondé) ; Esquerdes, dans le Nord-Pas-de-Calais (France), après que les arbres ont été coupés (sans autorisation de la Draff). On pouvait en 1992 observer là la lamproie fluviatile et les remontées de civelles (malgré plusieurs barrages dont celui du " moulin de wins " qui pouvait être contourné par les prairies inondées lors des inondations de la vallée, fréquentes). La dernière loutre connue de l'Aa aurait été tuée sur cette portion de rivière dans les années 1940. Noter les frayères de gravier et galets en assec, avec ancien niveau de l'eau bien visible |
