Three dancers and the accordion player from Abbots Bromley, c.1904

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Three dancers and the accordion player from Abbots Bromley. The dancers carry reindeer horns, one of which was carbon-dated in 1976 to the eleventh century AD; it is unknown when and how they arrived in Abbots Bromley. The earliest mention of horns being used in a dance at Abbots Bromley comes from Robert Plot's Natural History of Staffordshire in 1686.
