Rückseite: PIETAS FILII / AMOR POPVLI [Die Dankbarkeit des Sohnes, die Liebe des Volkes]. In einem oben gebunden Kranz aus Zypressenzweigen eine zweizeilige Aufschrift.

Kommentar: Luise Amalie, Tochter des Herzogs Ferdinand Albrecht II. von Braunschweig-Bevern, war mit Prinz August Wilhelm, dem Bruder Friedrichs II. verheiratet. Dieser war präsumtiver Nachfolger von Friedrich II. Luise Amalie starb am 13. Januar 1780. Die Medaille ist im Auftrag des späteren Königs Friedrich Wilhelms II. angefertigt worden.
