Description
Français : Un abri dans le village d'Oms, Pyrénées-Orientales (66), en face de l'église, avec une plaque "Chemin d'intérêt Commun" (voir : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Réseau_routier_départemental_français). La plaque est nouvellement restaurée. Voir cette image, prise en 2018 avant la restauration de la plaque : "Plaque CIC à Oms.jpg".

English: A shelter in the centre of Oms village, Pyrénées-Orientales, France. The newly-restored plaque which gives travel directions refers to a road classification system ("Chemin d'intérêt commun", etc) which was introduced by a law of 1836 and which remained in use until 1938. See: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Réseau_routier_départemental_français. The newly-painted "Terra Nostra" ("Our land") mural depicts the tower of the village church against a background of the east-facing slopes of the Canigou massif, as seen from certain points in the commune, such as the summit of "La Calcine".
