Description

Histopathologic changes associated with en:actinomycetoma of the foot using a en:Brown and Brenn stain.

Actinomycetoma is a chronic, en:granulomatous infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissue caused by the en:Gram-positive, fungus-like aerobic bacteria of the class en:Actinomyces.
