Description
English: Hundreds of people took to the streets of central London on Sunday 13 August 2023 to protest against the alleged US backed removal from office and arrest of former PM Imran Khan for his refusal to bend to Western pressure to cut off ties with Moscow. On 10 April 2022, Khan was forced to step down as prime minister after he lost a no-confidence motion allegedly backed by Pakistan's military, and on 5 August 2023 he was sentenced to three years in prison on corruption charges, regarded as trumped up by his supporters.
