Description
English: Aerial view of Horseshoe Bay and the far southern portion of the village of Egg Harbor and part of the eastern town of Egg Harbor in w:Door County, Wisconsin, Wisconsin, taken June 27, 2020. Wisconsin Highway 42 runs northeast-southwest in the bottom right corner.

Recreational areas include Frank E. Murphy County Park (lower near center, largely along the shore), the Lautenbach Woods Nature Preserve (map), and the Plum Bottom Wayside (along the bottom, on the left side of Wisconsin Highway 42). In 2022 the county Facilities and Parks Committee discussed considering it a county park instead of just a wayside.

The southern tip of the Alpine Resort and Golf Course is at the top left of the land area of the photograph. The 18 holes of the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club are in the center of the terrestrial portion of the photograph.
