Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The intersection of Airport and Gillam Ways in Fairbanks, Alaska. The building in the background was built in 1957 and has served as a bowling alley, pizza restaurant and various other uses over the decades. It is located roughly on the same spot, and closely resembles, the old Gillam Airways (hence the name of Gillam Way) hangar. Charles Harold Gillam, Sr. (1903–1943) operated his air service on the edge of the former Weeks Field airport, which once stood close to this spot.
