English: Several members of the Artillery Company of Hondarribia's Alarde wait in the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe to perform the traditional ceremonial salvos, which are fired during the Mass that is celebrated each year on September 8th, commemorating the victory of the City over the French troops of Prince de Condé in 1638, during the Thirty Years War fought between the kingdoms of Spain and France.
Español: Sargento y miembros de la 1ª batería de la Compañía de Artillería del Alarde de Hondarribia esperan en el Santuario de la Virgen de Guadalupe a realizar las tradicionales salvas protocolarias, que se disparan durante la celebración de la misa que cada año, el 8 de septiembre, conmemora la victoria de la Ciudad sobre las tropas francesas del Principe de Condé, en 1638, durante la Guerra de los Treinta Años librada entre los reinos de España y Francia. |
