Čeština: Prof. PhDr. Albert Pražák (* 11. června 1880 Chroustovice – 19. září 1956 Praha - český literární historik. Do roku 1914 působil jako středoškolský profesor v Praze na gymnáziu Karla Sladkovského. Po vypuknutí první světové války byl odveden a prošel srbskou a ruskou frontu. Od roku 1921 působil jako profesor na univerzitě v Bratislavě a od roku 1933 v Praze. Roku 1924 se stal členem české akademie věd a Královské společnosti nauk. Roku 1926 se podílel na založení Učené společnosti Šafaříkovy v Bratislavě, v této společnosti působil jako generální sekretář. V květnu 1945 byl předsedou České národní rady. Česká národní rada (ČNR) byl ilegální odbojový orgán sdružující domácí rezistenční organizace. Vznikl v únoru 1945, fungoval prakticky až do konce druhé světové války, měl teritoriální působnost po celém protektorátu a jeho funkcí bylo vystupovat jako jednotící element ve vztahu k zahraničnímu odboji. ČNR významně koordinovala Pražské květnové povstání 1945. Portrétní fotografie Alberta Pražáka datovaná před rok 1945, pravděpodobně někdy kolem roku 1938. |
