[edit]Albert Salter, Jr. Albert Salter, Jr., died suddenly from apoplexy yesterday at his home, No. 1,492 Lexington avenue. Mr. Salter was fifty-nine years old and until about fifteen years ago was an active dealer in real estate. In the fall of 1880 he was obliged to close out his business, owing to a serious illness, and from that time until his death was an invalid. Mr. Salter was born and had always lived in this city. His wife died several years ago, and the only near relative surviving him is his brother, A. O. Salter, an attorney, of No. 140 Nassau st. The funeral will take place from his late home on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. The burial will be in Greenwood.

His wife died several years ago, and the only near relative surviving him is his brother, Abraham Oldrin Salter, an attorney, of No. 140 Nassau street. The funeral will take place from his late home on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. The burial will be in Green-Wood Cemetery.
