Description
English: A khan built under the Mamluk governor Adzemir in end 15th-early 16th century. It's gate's facade is considered one of the greatest Mamluk architectural works. The courtyard has a central warehouses, spoiling the effect, but has fine decoration too. The north side was truncated as a street was widened. Aleppo is famed for its "sabun" or soap, of a mixture of olive and laurel oil, and often aged.
