Summary[edit]

Description
English: Alessandro Sanquirico - Set design for the opera 'I due Figaro' - Galleria. According to the source the composer of the opera was Saverio Mercadante. He did indeed write an opera of this name, but it was performed in Madrid, not in Milan. Michele Carafa's opera of the same name however was performed in Milan 1820, and Sanquirico was the set designer for this performance.
