Barnard.; b.: Alexander Davison Esqr.; Inscribed in pencil, b.: The intimate Friend of 'Lord Nelson'. His life long Friendship was formed in 'Quebec', when he was the head of the / Firm of 'Davison & Lees', and Nelson was Captain of H.M.S. ' "Albermarle" ' of 24 Guns, in the year '1782'.
