Description
English: Built in 1922, this Renaissance Revival-style house was constructed for Alexander P. Jordan, and today is known as the Summit Avenue Cooperative. The house is clad in stucco with a hipped roof, exposed rafter tails at the eaves, Palladian windows on the first floor, nine-over-nine and twelve-over-twelve double-hung windows on the second floor, a semi-circular balcony with an iron railing in the central bay of the rear facade, and a terrace enclosed by a balustrade in front of the house, oriented perpendicular to the street. The house is a contributing structure in the University Heights Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
