Description
Català: L'Alforí de la Sal d'Alacant, coneguda també com a Casa del Rei, fou un edifici de principis del s.XVI que es trobava situada a l'actual plaça Gabriel Miró. Tingué diversos usos, l'últim dels quals fou de presidiari. A la façana d'este edifici apareix l'escut foral d'Alacant amb les armes reials d'Aragó, amb la data de 1521.

Manuel Cantós Company fou un dels primers fotògrafs professionals d'Alacant. Treballà com a corresponsal de mitjans com "Blanco y Negro", i també féu nombroses postals. Morí en març de l'any 1935.
