Description
English: Alfred D. Bamberger (1890–1956) as a recruit of the Imperial German Army. On 1st June 1915 he was dislocated to a motorist section, from 11th June 1915 to 13th February 1916 he served for the pioneer motorist platoon of the Alpenkorps.
Deutsch: Alfred David Bamberger (1890–1956) als Rekrut, kurz nachdem er der 1. Kompanie des I. Ersatz-Bataillons des Königlich Bayerischen 5. Infanterie-Regiments „Großherzog Ernst Ludwig von Hessen“ (Friedensstandort Bamberg) angehört hatte. Am 1. Juni 1915 wurde er zur 4. Kompanie der Kraftfahr-Ersatz-Abteilung 1 versetzt, am 11. Juni 1915 zur Pionier-Kraftfahr-Kolonne des Deutschen Alpenkorps, bei dem er bis zum 13. Februar 1916 diente.
