Description
Neben der Deutschen und Hamburger Flagge weht am Topp die Reedereiflagge von Schlüter & Maack. Erst ab 1903 ließ die Reederei A.C. de Freitas & Co. wieder Segelschiffe laufen, darunter auch die beiden Schwesternschiffe "Beethoven" und "Mozart", die als stählerne Viermastbarkentinen in Greenock von der Grangemouth & Greenock Dockyard Co erbaut wurden. Es waren frachtfahrenden Schulschiffe. 1910/11 gab de Freitas die Reederei auf und verkaufte die "Mozart" an Schlüter & Mack in Hamburg. Unter den Kapitänen P.Justi und F.Weiermann segelte das Schiff im Salpeterdienst. Im 1. Weltkrieg in Chile festgelegt, ging der Segler 1921 an Hugo Lundquist in Mariehamn, 1935 wurde er in England abgewrackt.
