Čeština: Alfréd Vít (* 26. května 1891 Vídeň – 20. dubna 1942 v 15.15 hodin koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byl povoláním vlakvedoucí. V domácím protiněmeckém odporu byl členem jinonické odbojové skupiny soustředěné kolem Karla Prokopa (* 8. října 1893 Horní Kralovice – 8. září 1943 věznice Berlín-Plötzensee) a jeho syna Miroslava Prokopa (* 22. října 1922 Mezilesí v Kladsku - 13. února 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen). Alfréd Vít poskytl pro vysílání ilegální radiové stanice Sparta Ic svůj byt na adrese Praha Hlubočepy Slivenecká 115/47. Společně s Aloisem Šimoníčkem (* 17. února 1901 Praha – 20. dubna 1942 v 15.15 hodin koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byl pro pobavení esesáků před hlavní bránou koncentračního tábora Mauthausen ubit dřevěnými palicemi v den 53. Hitlerových narozenin dne 20. dubna 1942 v 15.15 hodin.
English: Alfréd Vít (* 26 May 1891 Vienna - 20 April 1942 at 3.15 pm Mauthausen concentration camp) was a train driver by profession. In the domestic anti-German resistance he was a member of the Jinonice resistance group centred around Karel Prokop (* 8 October 1893 Horní Kralovice - 8 September 1943 Berlin-Plötzensee prison) and his son Miroslav Prokop (* 22 October 1922 Mezilesí in Kladsko - 13 February 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp). Alfréd Vít provided his flat at 115/47 Slivenecká Hlubočepy in Prague for the broadcasting of the illegal radio station Sparta Ic. Together with Alois Šimoníček (* 17 February 1901 Prague - 20 April 1942 at 3.15 p.m. Mauthausen Concentration Camp), he was beaten with wooden sticks in front of the main gate of Mauthausen Concentration Camp on the day of Adolf Hitler's 53rd birthday on 20 April 1942 at 3.15 p.m. |
