Summary
[edit]DescriptionAlfred inside cab.jpg |
English: Inside the cab of former Port of Par steam locomotive Alfred. This was built by W G Bagnall to a very restricted loading gauge so that it could operate through a low bridge, it therefore has the cab floor unusually fitted below the level of the main frames. It is currently preserved in working condition on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway in Cornwall, United Kingdom, although the photograph was taken while it was at Saltash as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations for the Royal Albert Bridge. |
