Description
Nederlands: Voormalige kapel van het r.k. ziekenhuis "St. Elisabeth" uit 1925-1927 ontworpen door de Haagse architect Jan Stuijt (1868-1934) gebouwd volgens het paviljoensysteem in een traditionalistische stijl. Adres Van Everdingenstraat 18-50. Opdrachtgever was de congregatie van de Zusters Augustinessen van Barmhartigheid in Delft, die zich sinds 1897 bezig hield met de ziekenzorg in Alkmaar. Het in dat jaar gebouwde St. Elisabethgesticht in de Emmastraat was met 24 bedden echter te klein geworden.

Tegenwoordig is de kapel in gebruik als restaurant en recreatieruimte van Zorgspectrum Westerhout.
