Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A simulated view from SpaceEngine of our neighboring stars: Alpha Centauri A (foreground), Alpha Centauri B (background), and Proxima Centauri (within the white circle). The Andromeda Galaxy is slightly below Alpha Centauri A, and the Pleiades are to the right of Proxima Centauri. To the left of Proxima Centauri is Aldebaran. Capella, the bright star, is near the top left. Deneb is to the right of Alpha Centauri B, on the extreme right side of the image. Our own Sun appears as the first-magnitude star above Alpha Centauri A, slightly left of center.
