History of the Victoria zu Berlin insurance group, now Victoria (part of ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG) <a href="http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Victoria-Group-Company-History.html" rel="nofollow">here</a> The name Victoria was coined in 1875, having previously been the Allgemeine Eisenbahn-Versicherungs-Gesellschaft , founded in 1853, offering life insurance policies.
