As Adam lives in Britain, which makes it incredibly easy to acquire copyright in his works, he grants, if needed, an irrevokable license to use this work however you see fit. He requests attribution where possible, and realises that "where possible" means that that request is not legally enforcable. Adam Cuerden (talk) 15:44, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

Notes

[edit]
  1. a b Robin is identified as actually being Despard's brother Ruthven at the end of the first act, but using two names for one character on a simple diagram like this one seemed unnecessarily confusing.
  2. This scene was changed shortly after this image was made: The dialogue was abridged, and Roderic's entrance was changed from entering from a trapdoor (as seen here), to entering from his picture frame. The cut dialogue passages involve a joke about how stage equipment malfunctioned a lot in the bad melodramas Ruddygore parodies, where he delivers most of the scene stuck half-way out of the trapdoor (as seen here), occasionally giving Dame Hannah excuses for why he doesn't want to come the whole way up, before he finally gets lifted the rest of the way out.
