Description
Français : Analyse spectrale d'un tracé d'EEG d'éveil calme enregistré en occipital chez un sujet humain relaxé les yeux fermés sans tâche mentale particulière. Le spectre de puissance calculé est représenté en déciBels (dB) en fonction des fréquences (Hz). L'EEG est décomposé en activités électriques selon les bandes de fréquences qui correspondent aux portions du spectre de puissance (delta, theta, alpha, beta).
English: Spectral analysis of an EEG tracing recorded over occipital in a normal human subject being relaxed, eyes closed, without any mental task. The EEG power spectrum is represented in deciBels (dB) versus frequencies (Hz). The EEG is decomposed in electrical activities corresponding to different frequency bands of the power spectrum (delta, theta, alpha, beta).

Source Own personal image of Pierre Etevenon in Paris, before publication in his book Du rêve à l'éveil : Bases physiologiques du sommeil, Albin Michel, Collection "Sciences d'aujourd'hui", Figure 18, page 142, 1987. ISBN : 2226028716. This personal image has been later in Paris recently imorted in COMMONS. Réédition numérique par FeniXX (www.fenixx.fr).
Author Pierre Raymond Esteve is in WP the pseudonyme of Pierre Etevenon who is the one who posted it in COMMONS, and he gives permission for it to appear with whatever license WP requires.
